He trains alone and misses his partners very much.
The 2022 World Cup is almost over – and we are back to the pleasant routine of club football. Erling Haaland is one of the top football players who did not take part in the main football festival in Qatar. But at the end of the tournament, the Norwegian reminded of himself with a funny video in which he played the main role.
A one-minute video with Erling’s voice-over, timed to coincide with the resumption of the Premier League, was released by Sky Sports with the participation of Man City.
“I work hard while the guys are away from me,” Holland begins, biting his left fingernails in a distracted way.
“But sometimes it gets boring,” continues the Norwegian. At this point, the video focuses on loneliness. Holland sits alone in the gym.
And skating around the perfect Man City training ground.
“But time flies. I won’t lie – I miss all the jokes,” Holland says. At this moment, the Norwegian carefully puts on the mannequin the T-shirt of Kevin de Bruyne, his main partner in attack.
“Celebrating goals alone and with partners are two different things,” the striker philosophizes.
Hearing laughter in the next room, Erling looks in there – in the hope that there is one of his teammates there.
But only Sky Sports experts are laughing from the TV.
Holland then calls Jack Grealish. The answering machine replies sternly, “It’s Jack, leave your message.”
“Anyway, I hope the guys are doing well. I look forward to meeting them. Best regards, Erling,” Holland concludes.
Looking forward to the return of the monstrous Norwegian?
