In the debut race, the crew of Vladislav Lomko was a little short of the podium

The 20th season of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) has started in Spain. Vladislav Lomko started the race from pole position, who held the lead for the first 20 minutes of the distance, but then, as the tires wore out, the Russian was forced to give up the first position. Nevertheless, his crew was in the top three for almost the entire race.

However, Jose-Maria Lopez, who sat behind the wheel in the final stretch, made two mistakes. First, the Argentine went too wide in one of the corners, missing three opponents, and a little later, in the last corner, he crashed into the Aston Martin Vantage AMR of the TF Sport team. This was followed by a penalty drive down the pit lane, dropping Cool Racing No. 47 to seventh overall. Among the participants in the LMP2 standings, Lomko’s crew was in fourth place.
