After returning from Qatar, Marcus Rashford is unstoppable – he has already scored 9 times for Manchester United. In addition, the Englishman has a new way of celebrating goals – he remains calm and points his finger at his head.
The celebration seems to be popular with strikers – it has already been repeated by Newcastle’s Joelinton when he scored against Southampton in the League Cup and Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich when he equalized against Cologne.
And what, exactly, does this gesture of Marcus mean?
Rumor has it that this celebration is indicative of an improvement in the player’s mental health. Back in October, Rashford revealed that he had mental issues in the 2021/22 season.
“Last season, I had psychological difficulties, it’s not about my game, but about some things that happened off the field. A lot of the time last season I wasn’t in the right mental state before games,” the Manchester United striker told Sky Sports.
It is believed that the new celebration of Marcus is a confirmation that he is in excellent physical and psychological shape.
