“Cristianinho is the heir of Cristiano. At this age, his father did not play like that,” said Dolores Aveiro, mother of Ronaldo, in an interview with Nova Gente magazine.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is perceived as such by many – outwardly he resembles his father, plays in a similar position and also strives for a magical career.

“I always dreamed of a son who would become my heir,” said Cristiano in the documentary Father-Son Time: Ronaldo. “I wanted to be a father when I was young, and I did. I was 25 when Cristiano was born. I really wanted to trace his entire path – the formation and development as a person, as a man.

Of course, Cristiano had a great influence on me. I learned to calm down, became more careful. It took me a long time to learn how to be a father.

My son will see with his own eyes the glory of his father. It’s unique. He is already proud of me and boasts of my trophies. It makes me even happier.”

At the beginning of 2023, Ronaldo left for Saudi Arabia and, of course, took Cristiano with him. Only five or six years – and perhaps we will see this guy in adult football. It’s time to get to know each other better.

There were many rumors around the birth of Cristiano Jr. – everyone wondered who his mother was. It seems that he himself does not know yet

something important: in this text, we wanted to talk about the son of Ronaldo from all angles, so in this chapter we also quoted tabloids (for example, the British Mirror), which wrote in detail about the birth of Cristiano Jr.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr was born in June 2010 in the USA. This came as a surprise – the Portuguese did not announce that he would soon become a father for the first time. On the website of Ronaldo appeared a short message about the birth of a boy. Many decided that this was a hacker attack, but soon the player’s representatives confirmed that Cristiano really became a dad. Then the Portuguese met with Irina Shayk (there were even rumors of an engagement), but she was not pregnant.

 

There are different versions of events. The Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias wrote that Ronaldo used the services of a surrogate mother. And the British tabloid Mirror conducted an investigation and concluded: Cristiano Jr. was born after an accidental relationship between Ronaldo and a 20-year-old student who worked as a waitress. Mirror claimed that after learning about the pregnancy, the girl contacted the player’s agent Jorge Mendes. Ronaldo did not refuse a DNA test, the result of which was positive. After that, Cristiano paid the girl 20 million pounds for the rights to the child and silence. Mirror, referring to a friend of Ronaldo, wrote that the footballer was going to tell Cristiano Jr. about his mother when he turned 18.

The boy was transported from the US to Portugal when Cristiano played at the 2010 World Cup. Diario de Noticias wrote that Ronaldo left South Africa immediately after being eliminated from Spain in the 1/8 finals in order to see his son as soon as possible.

“The boy has brown eyes, he is brunette, like Cristiano,” Ronaldo’s sister Katia Aveiro told Diario de Noticias shortly after his birth. – Of course, Cristiano is very happy! Who doesn’t rejoice when a child is born to him? The son looks like Cristiano, although he is still too young to understand what features he will have. This is a very calm child – he only eats and sleeps.

“Cristianinho has no one but his father and me, so we spend a lot of time together,” said Dolores Aveiro, mother of Ronaldo. I don’t care who his mother is. I just want to give my grandson love and raise me the way Ronaldo asked me to. The way I raised him. He reminds me a lot of Cristiano as a child. I see that the younger Cristiano is the same as his father.”

In 2015, Ronaldo came to the show to Jonathan Ross and received an uncomfortable question – is he worried that his son does not have a mother? “It’s not a problem for me,” Cristiano replied. Ronaldo wants his son to become a top football player. The main thing is not the goalkeeper

For the first time, Ronaldo spoke about his son’s love for football in 2015 – immediately after receiving the Golden Ball.

“The birth of Cristiano brought joy and peace into my life,” Cristiano shared in an interview with the FIFA press service. “It’s not that I didn’t have enough of them before, but with the birth of my son, it became even more. I am filled with pride when he shares moments like this with me, because he will grow up and know that his father is a professional football player and plays for Real Madrid. In fact, he already knows from last year. Cristiano plays football himself, which is a nice surprise from last year [2014]. He really likes it. At first he was fond of cars, and now football. I’m happy because it’s a cheaper hobby.”

And a year later, Ronaldo said that he wants to see Cristiano Jr. as a football player.

“I want my son to play professionally,” Ronaldo shared in an interview with the Chinese channel Zhejiang Satellite TV. – I think he has the necessary qualities. Of course, he is still very young, he is a 5-year-old child, but he loves football. He plays ball all the time. We have 30 balls at home, and Cristiano is constantly fiddling with them.

But I won’t force him. This happens by itself, he must make his own choice. Cristiano can be whoever he wants to be. I won’t push. But of course I want Cristiano to become a football player. A top footballer, like a dad.”

The documentary Father-Son Time: Ronaldo showed how Cristiano spends time with his 5-year-old son. Of course, there is a lot of talk about football. For example, these:

At the age of 6, instead of the Real Madrid academy, where his father played, Cristiano was taken to Pozuelo from the fourth division. Ronaldo Jr. scored in the first match – his team beat El Carrascal 4-3. And in November 2017, Cristiano and Georgina Rodriguez went to the Pozuelo match against Bernadette B. Ronaldo Jr did not disappoint and scored 6 of the team’s 8 goals. Then Cristianoinho still joined the Real Madrid academy – and scored 50 goals in 20 matches for teams of different age groups.

 

In 2018, when Ronaldo moved from Real Madrid to Juventus, Cristiano Jr. joined the Italian club’s academy. The debut was fabulous: Cristianoinho made poker for Juve U9. He played, of course, under the 7th number.

The schedule was tight: 4-5 practices and 1 match per week. And this is without taking into account classes with his father, who leads Cristianoinho in the gym to build muscle mass, work out blows with him and work on speed. Already by October 2019, Ronaldo Jr. was producing incredible numbers – according to Football Talent Scout, he knocked out 58 goals and 18 assists in 28 matches for Juventus U9.

“He’s adapted really well at Juventus,” Ronaldo told DAZN. It’s easier for him than for me. I hope he can become like dad. Cristiano says he will surpass me, but I think it will be difficult.”

In the summer of 2021, Ronaldo returned to England, and in February 2022, Cristiano Jr. joined the Manchester United academy – where he took the 7th number, and then celebrated goals in the style of his father, playing in the same team with Kai Rooney.

“Sometimes the son says: “Dad, play a few more years. I want to play with you on the same team,” Ronaldo said at the International Sports Conference in Dubai. It’s very difficult, but I can do it. We don’t know how things will turn out.”

In 2016, Ronaldo told a funny story about his relationship with his son.

“I always dreamed of a son, he changed me a lot,” Ronaldo said in an interview with La Sexta. “Sometimes he comes home and says, “Daddy, Bale is faster than you.” And I answer: “Where did you get it from? I can’t help him not to see beautiful cars, great houses, a good quality of life. This cannot be avoided. What should I do about it? What would you do in my place? Everything depends on education. It is necessary to give the child the right upbringing and explain: “Listen, in order to have all this, you need to work. This is necessary if you want to have such a car and such a house. There is nothing more I can do.
